About The School
St. John Vianney School was started in 2002 as a Gwalior Diocesan School, and being run by the Catholic Minority. Our school is known for its long years of committed service in the field of education specially for taking education to the slums and villages of Gwalior through its "Classroom to Community" programme. Our school is dedicated to our patron St. John Mary Vianney. We celebrate our Patron's festival as the school festival (Vianney day) on August 8th. We are glad and proud to say that, St. John Vianney School was started to mark its Platinum Jubilee and to extend its services to the people here in Gwalior. The School is now educating students up to Class XII adding a section each year.
Our school considers every student without any consideration of caste, creed and status. Our school considers it as a duty to respect the religious beliefs of all our fellow brethren. We celebrate all religions, national festivals and lay our duties to the intellectual and physical development of every student. It shines its light on the children by providing education from K.G to XII.
We are sure that this institution will bring forth good citizens for our country and to the world at large. In 2009-10 St. John Vianney School, Purani Chawani is affiliated to CBSE (New Delhi). Affiliation No. is 1030452.
